'The World is your Oyster' - Workshops for students
Objectives
Saltwater Creations provide a face to face, interactive, real life story-telling workshop, breaking down perceptions of disability and creating understanding of ability, in a fun and stimulating environment. Interactive tasks and face to face questions, will enable children to air their thoughts and feelings in a comfortable and familiar environment. Inspirational and motivational stories will inspire students to ‘think big’ and ‘never give up’ both in their educational and personal life. Empowerment tools and real life activity examples brings the workshop alive, and leaves the students ready to challenge themselves to be the best they can be!
Workshop subject include focus on; resilience, disability awareness, empowerment, volunteering and citizenship, well-being and 'ability' to be active and achieve.
Aims

- Understand the similarities between disabled and non-disabled people

Who are the workshops for?
Students from age 5yrs upwards in Primary, Secondary, Independent Schools, Colleges and University.
The Saltwater Workshop or activity day is delivered at your establishment and can last from just an hour up to the whole day. We also deliver bespoke workshops can provide a whole school assembly if required.
Is there a cost?
Saltwater Creations CIC works to identify funding partners to deliver the workshops to schools. Sometimes we can offer them at reduced cost or even Free where funding has been secured. Workshops are available at any time starting from £250 per day. Please contact us if you would like a workshop if funding is available.
